It’s easy to see why – this video poker machine offers a stripped-down and exciting gaming experience, giving users a chance to use their cardplaying skills to bank huge credit wins! But don’t worry, you don’t have to be a pro poker player to get paid in this game; just knowing the strength of the various poker hands is more than enough training to get started!

About The Game

The Jacks or Better variation of video poker is played with a standard 52-card deck. Just as the name implies, if you make a hand of at least a pair of jacks, you win! From there, the prizes only get bigger, with the payouts increasing alongside with the value of your hand. Of course, as the hands get stronger, they also become harder to hit; make an elusive Royal Flush and you’ll leave with your bankroll bulging! Take a shot at this classic video poker game today!

How To Play

In Jacks or Better, you won’t be pitted against an opponent, you’ll simply try and make the best hand possible with the cards that you are dealt. To get started betting, use the Bet Up and Bet Down buttons to set your desired wager amount. As you adjust your bet, you will see that the information in the Paytable changes. That’s because the higher your bet, the more you will be rewarded for your Jacks or Better hands.

When you’re happy with your bet amount, click the deal button, or hit the Space key, to see your first five cards. Once the cards are dealt, you will get one chance to try and improve your hand by discarding as many or as few as you like. If you are dealt a strong hand like a Straight Flush in your first five cards, you would likely want to hold all of them. To do that, just make sure that no cards are selected and click the the Draw button to stand pat. If the opposite is true and your starting hand is weak, you can select all five cards and click the draw button to receive an entirely new hand.
