Double Double Bonus Poker

After the popularity of Double Bonus, the video poker variant based on the legendary Jacks or Better machine, it wasn’t hard to guess what would come next – that’s right, Double Double Bonus! The game uses a standard 52-card deck and pays out handsomely for four of a kind hands. Just like in its predecessor, players can bank up to 800x for scoring a Royal flush, and 50x for a straight flush. But that’s where the payout similarities end. In Double Double Bonus, you’ll receive a whopping 400x payout when you hit four aces with any 2, 3, or 4 kicker! In Double Bonus, however, four aces with any kicker will only net you 160x. Double Double Bonus also pays out well for four of a kind twos, threes, and fours with any ace, 2, 3, or 4 kicker, rewarding 160x! Of course, you don’t need to hit a huge hand to win; with just a pair of jacks in your hand you’ll get paid!

How To Play

When you first get started with any new video poker game, be sure to familiarize yourself with the payouts in the paytable. Your goal in Double Double Bonus is to hit big paydays with four of a kind hands, straight flushes and royal flushes. To that end, it’s recommended that you always shoot to make the strongest hands possible with the cards you’re dealt.

Your next step is to set your bet by clicking the Bet Up or Bet Down buttons. As you adjust your bet, the paytable will update itself, giving you the win amounts possible for the bet size that you choose.

When you’re ready to begin, click Deal and you’ll be dealt five cards. You’ll now have the opportunity to keep any or all of those cards, or discard them all and receive a completely new hand. To keep your cards, simply click on those you would like to preserve, or alternatively, press keys 1, 2, 3, 4 and/or 5 on your computer keyboard. When you’re ready to continue, click the Deal button and your discarded cards will disappear while new ones fall in their place. At this point, there are no more drawing rounds and the game is considered complete. Your hand will be compared to the paytable and you will be paid out accordingly.
