It’s important to note that in American roulette, there are two zero slots, a single zero slot and a double zero slot. This has a slight negative impact on your odds of winning compared to a European wheel, which features just one zero slot.

You can make several types of different bets, including wagers on individual numbers, groups of numbers, odd or even numbers, colors red or black, and more. Bets on groupings are called outside bets and pay out at a lower rate than inside bets, which include small groups of numbers or individual numbers. Although inside bets pay significantly more, they are much harder to hit.

Placing Your Bet
